What is Gym Showdown?
Buy an orb — the ball you throw — from $2 and throw it at a card roaming the island. Your odds are shown before every throw: a cheap card is close to a coin flip, a grail is a long shot. Catch it and the real graded card lands in your wallet.
Get a wallet with some SOL
Walking around the island is free. To buy anything you need a Solana wallet with a little SOL in it — that is the money the game moves in.
Buy an orb and throw it
Orbs start at $2. Before every throw the screen shows that card's value and your exact odds — cheap cards are close to a coin flip, the expensive ones are a long shot. Prefer a straight bet? A 1v1 costs $47 right now.
The card is really yours
Win one and the real graded card moves to your wallet — a physical card in insured storage, not a picture. Keep it, sell it, trade it, or bet it again.
This is a real-money game — you must be 18+, you can lose what you spend, and every result is checkable.
What is Gym Showdown?
Gym Showdown is an explorable Solana world where every Pokémon card is real. Catch wild graded slabs, battle other trainers and Gym Leaders for them, fuse shards into cards, and trade peer-to-peer. The treasury is publicly verifiable on-chain — every card you see above maps 1:1 to a physical graded slab.
A published, fixed edge
- →1v1 entries are priced off the live vault so the average win is always 1.5× the entry — a fixed, published house edge, not a mystery rake.
- →Every flip, draw, and catch roll uses commit-reveal randomness you can verify yourself on the Transparency page.
