About

What is Gym Showdown?

Walk an open on-chain island where graded Pokémon slabs roam wild. Throw an orb to catch one, battle trainers and Gym Leaders to win one, or fuse shards into one — every card is a real graded slab that lands in your wallet.

How it works

3 steps
01

Explore the overworld

Walk the island free. Wild graded slabs and shards spawn in the grass, the water, and the caverns — and the town buildings hold the battle modes.

02

Catch or battle

Throw an orb at a wild slab (from $2), or pay the live 1v1 entry — $47 right now, priced off the vault so the average win is 1.5× the entry — and coin-flip another trainer.

03

The card is really yours

Win or catch a card and the graded NFT lands in your wallet at settlement — a real slab in insured custody, redeemable for the physical. Wager it again, consign it, list it, or keep it.

What is Gym Showdown?

Gym Showdown is an explorable Solana world where every Pokémon card is real. Catch wild graded slabs, battle other trainers and Gym Leaders for them, fuse shards into cards, and trade peer-to-peer. The treasury is publicly verifiable on-chain — every card you see above maps 1:1 to a physical graded slab.

A published, fixed edge

  • 1v1 entries are priced off the live vault so the average win is always 1.5× the entry — a fixed, published house edge, not a mystery rake.
  • Every flip, draw, and catch roll uses commit-reveal randomness you can verify yourself on the Transparency page.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Are the cards real?
Yes. Every card is a graded slab (PSA, CGC and more) tokenized by Collector Crypt: the NFT is backed 1:1 by the physical card in insured custody and can be redeemed for the physical. The treasury wallet is public, so you can verify every card on-chain.
How is fairness handled?
Every outcome — coin flips, card draws, wild catch rolls — uses commit-reveal randomness: a hash of the seed is published before the outcome exists, and the seed is revealed at settlement so anyone can recompute the result. Check any match on the Transparency page.
What happens when I win or catch a card?
The graded NFT is transferred to your wallet at settlement — no claim step. From there it's yours: wager it again, consign it to the wild via the Trainer Vault, list it on the Trading Post, or redeem the physical slab.
Can I sell a card?
Yes. Won cards get a 12-hour window to sell back to the vault for 80% of insured value (up to $100 insured). Beyond that, list it on the in-game Trading Post, or consign it at your own reserve through the Trainer Vault — when a trainer catches it, you're paid your reserve in SOL.
What does $GYM do?
Stake $GYM in the Bank for free daily orbs — one per 500k staked, up to five a day, with streak upgrades. 3% of the house's margin from every mode funds programmatic open-market $GYM buybacks, and Burn Boutique cosmetics are bought by burning $GYM.
What does it cost to play?
Exploring is free. Orbs start at $2, and the 1v1 entry floats with the vault so the average win is 1.5× the entry. Daily quests earn a free orb, and there's a free spin every day.
