How it works

3 steps
01

Pay entry

$10 per side, charged in SOL at the live price the moment you enter. Funds go straight to the on-chain treasury wallet.

02

1v1 coin flip

Matched with another trainer. Pure 50/50 outcome, settled by verifiable on-chain randomness.

03

Winner takes a card

A card is drawn from the vault using weighted odds — rare cards are rarer. The NFT is airdropped to your wallet instantly.

What is Gym Showdown?

Gym Showdown is a 1v1 Solana game where you pay an entry fee for a 50/50 shot at a real PSA- or CGC-graded Pokémon card NFT. The treasury is publicly verifiable on-chain — every card you see above corresponds to a real graded card mapped to its NFT.

Why it's +EV for trainers

  • $10 entry vs. an avg drawn card worth more — positive expected value.
  • Treasury keeps acquiring new graded cards from entry proceeds.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Are the cards real?
Yes. Each NFT in the vault is backed 1:1 by a physical PSA-graded card held in a bonded vault. Burn the NFT to redeem the physical card.
How is randomness handled?
Both the 50/50 battle outcome and the weighted card draw use Solana VRF for verifiable on-chain randomness. No trust required.
Can I just sell the NFT?
Yes. NFTs trade on Magic Eden and Tensor like any other Solana collection. You don't have to redeem the physical card.
What's the sell-back window?
After you win, you have 12 hours to sell the NFT back to the vault for 80% of its insured value. After that, it's yours to keep or list.
